client: naples cinematheque
David and Cecilia Garonzik left their current jobs in Los Angeles in 2022 for Naples, specifically to found Naples Cinematheque—a boutique, state-of-the art, three screen repertory and revival theater offering an alternative cinema experience. As a lifelong movie fan, David’s tenured experience included eight years at Miramax Films—where he managed a screening room built for Quentin Tarantino—and 10 years managing and operating screening rooms for Dick Clark Productions. Armed with just a logo design, the team approached Mike Rocco Consulting for their website, social media channels and a brand strategy to build engagement across the Naples community.
In it’s nascent form, David and Cecilia began hosting pop-up screenings in the Bayshore Arts District before securing a one-year partnership with Paragon Theaters while they continued to future plans for a new location.
Below are some digital campaign assets created to help celebrate each film title as if it was a “new” release. By creating compelling design and emphasizing the energy and tone for each film, a loyal audience is embracing the philosophy of Naples Cinematheque: To celebrate 100 years of cinema.
